Yep, we made the stupid reference and twisted it juuuuuust different enough to not give legal a heart attack. It's what we do.
Hey! We're Studio Countdown. We are a flat-managed (nobody is your boss) animation studio with a fierce love for making cool art, but you already knew that. Probably.
Before you continue, please keep in mind that while we do think we are really cool, we are not a Netney or a Disflix (is that OK, legal?). For one thing, we don't want to be on... the other side. For another thing, we can be very strapped for cash at times.
Which is why we're honest. When you click a job listing on this page, you'll see whether or not it's revenue-share (meaning you'll get paid based on the success of the project). All revenue-share positions are flexitime (do the work when you want, as long as the work gets done) and remote-first.
So, while we'd love to tell you to "work with us if you love art", we have to tell you to work with us if you love art AND you can pay for essentials like rent or food if our company goes to hell. Revenue share is inherently unstable and we know this. Please make sure you know the risks before you make the leap.
